    The only way to survive on Juagiza is to be selfish, to step on others to survive, and part of that instinct is deeply ingrained in Nein's mind still.  While he is significantly better than when he first joined the Keepers, his heritage has left him more willing to sacrifice others to accomplish his goals.  However it also has left him determined to overcome any obstacle and has caused him to strive for excellence in the field.  He is very dedicated to his team and will push his abilities to the limit to overcome any situation.  He views every problem as a challenge and thus remains very calm under pressure, his determination only increasing when under any form of pressure.

"I apologize, was that private?" [ Curious =► Intrusive ]
    Nein loves to learn and constantly wants to acquire knowledge about everyone and everything around him.  This makes him a very good Keeper as he is in a constant state of improvement, but can also cause discomfort and embarrassment for his team members.  Due to how he was raised, Nein doesn't really understand being self-conscious or embarrassed so he tends to pry into things that he shouldn't simply for the sake of learning something new.  However he can easily be distracted from such things if he is given other, more valuable or more interesting, knowledge.

    Nein rarely lets his emotions guide him even in social situations.  Every word and action has a purpose and each is another step towards him fulfilling a goal.  It is very rare that Nein will do anything without purpose or ulterior motives, whether those motives be good or bad.  However he tends to manipulate others to get what he wants.  Usually it isn't a problem since his end goals often align with those he's manipulating, but it can cause some tension when they do not.  It is rare that he sees anyone on his team as much else aside from an asset to fulfilling his goals or mission.

"I don't need your company." [ Distant =► Lonely ]
    It's hard for Nein to trust anyone, thus he is extremely distant even with his team members.  He does what he needs to to accomplish the mission and tends to avoid any sort of real emotional attachment.  At times he can even seem cold, pushing others away out of a deep-seeded mistrust of those around him, something ingrained into him from a young age.  Despite this he does crave the presence of others, something that seems backwards given his behavior.  While he may say something awful to get someone to leave him alone, he is always disappointed when they actually do.

    When Nein is annoyed he tends to not filter his borderline cruel comments.  His humor is very dry and veers towards being dark.  Due to this he has a tendency to rub those who don't have a great deal of patience the wrong way.  This is a result of his general outlook on people and the galaxy as a whole, an outlook that was born from seeing the dregs of society and living on the streets.  Part of him knows, deep down, that the Keepers are different, are nothing like Juagizans, but he can't help but think the worst of every situation and every person they meet.
