"Trust me, it's more trouble than it's worth~"

› Aura » "It's comforting to know I am never truly alone, but that doesn't take the pain away."
Unique to the northern lycans of V'run, Gunnar's aura is actually a combination of two separate auras co-existing within him. The first is his natural aura, a silver wind the surrounds his body, often little more than a gentle breeze. When angered though, the storm becomes violent, lashing out with razors sharp enough to wound most unarmored foes. The second comes from an unknown source, a series of snow white petals that drift lazily in the winds of his aura. In his passive state they seem to collect over his wounds, accelerating his healing, but with focus can collect on a target leaving them in a somewhat drowsy state, completely unaware of their presence unless they have a talent for detecting aura. Little is known about how he acquired this unique aura, the natives of V'run have been hesitant to reveal their methods, and Gunnar seems content to avoid any inquest into the matter.
› Night of the Bloodmoon » "A tribute to all those who have fallen..."
A result of his twin aura, Night of the Bloodmoon has taken on the ability to draw out the power of each aura separately, effectively giving him two Nexus within a single being. Even with this trait though, he is physically unable to draw out both simultaneously, unable to balance out such extreme forces acting on his body.
Level One (Primary) - Gale Fang: A somewhat basic ability that allows the user to manipulate the wind into a variety of shapes to augment their attacks, forming near-invisible blades and shields that Gunnar has shaped into a technique that has earned the lycan no small amount of respect and fear. Channeling his aura through Moonfang, he dissolves the blade into a cloud of razor sharp fragments. While no longer a physical weapon, he can manipulate the shards at will, controlling them with surprising precision even when engaging multiple foes. In its most basic state it is simply an extension of his aura, lashing out with blades formed from thin air to slice foes to ribbons. With more control though, it can be focused into physical forms; anything from wielded weapons and armor to physical constructs, wolves and other creatures to strike fear into his foes. Though often used with his blade, he can use this technique without its aid, making the technique weaker, but much harder to detect.
Level One (Secondary) - Sanctuary: An extremely potent, but dangerous healing technique, Sanctuary allows the user to cure almost any ailment, but at the cost of imparting the wound onto them-self. So far the only limits noted by Gunnar are the inability to regenerate dead flesh, regrow lost limbs, or bring life back to the dead. Coating the area in a white light, petals drift into existence around him, and as he places his hand on an individual the petals crown the target, wilting away as the wounds transfer from them to the lycan. The residual aura of this effect, even if triggered without a target has a calming effect on most people, and has a somewhat unique effect on Nith. Most low-tier Nith are basked in the light, their bodies growing white and taking on an almost angelic appearance as the corruption is purged of their system, acting as allies of Gunnar until the Nexus is broken and they are free to return to the Lifestream. Most creatures larger than a humanoid seem to have little notice of the Sanctuary, simply ignoring the effects with little more than slight weakness of body and aura.
Level Two (Primary) - Dance of the Gale: Absorbing the very essence of the wind itself, Gunnar becomes partially ethereal, able to dissolve his body at will in a fashion similar to his sword, and reassemble his body a short distance away, making him partially immune to damage so long as he can react to the blow in time. So long as he remains in this form his mastery of the wind is far improved, able to generate high-speed currents to tear apart foes and grant himself limited flight in this form. Unfortunately the longer he remains in this state the more taxing it is for him to return to his fully corpreal state, often resulting in him collapsing under exhaustion upon the end of the release if not maintained.
Level Two (Secondary) - Moonlight Orchard: A faint, but pleasant scent of flowers overcomes the surrounding area trapping all those who smell the scent in a powerful aura that cloaks the area in the light of a full moon, linking them to the wanderer. Enhancing the effects of Sanctuary, all Nith up to mid-tier caught in this trance are purified, acting under the command of the lycanthrope until his Nexus ends and they return to the Lifestream. All other hostiles caught in its radius begin to grow drowsy, their limbs growing heavy and their reactions slowed as they wander through the petals, each attack made making it harder and harder for them to continue on. Innocents and allies on the other hand bask in the light of the moon, their wounds and aura regenerating at an accelerated rate, calming their nerves and allowing them to focus. In this state Gunnar can absorb wounds taken by his allies as they appear, his accelerated healing allowing him to sustain injuries even more than usual. Fighting while maintaining this state is extremely fatiguing though, especially when cast over a large range, so having others protect him while in this state is preferred.
Level Three - Midnight Reverence: Unreached, and believed unobtainable by V'run standards.
